A herbaceous cocktail create by Portland bartender Andrew Volk. Full of flavour from the 130 herbs, flowers & plants used to make the monk’s green elixir.


  • 45mL Gin
  • 22.5mL Green Chartreuse
  • 22.5mL Fresh Lime Juice
  • 15mL Rich Sugar Syrup (2:1)
  • 15mL Egg White


  1. Dry shake the egg white (see video below)
  2. Add the remaining ingredients to your cocktail shaker
  3. Shake & strain over ice into a double old fashioned glass
  4. Garnish with a skewered maraschino cherry and slice of lime
