The Brazil 66 was created at a San Francisco bar called Absinthe. This Cachaca cocktail could also be referred to as an orange Caipirinha as it has strikingly similar ingredients.

Brazil 66 Cocktail Recipe


  • 45mL Cachaca
  • 15mL Cointreau
  • 15mL Fresh Orange Juice
  • 15mL Fresh Lime Juice
  • 15mL Sugar Syrup (1:1)


  1. Add all the ingredients to your cocktail shaker
  2. Shake and strain over fresh ice into a double old fashioned
  3. Garnish with a lime wedge
